MARGARET LILLIAN DWYER SCOTT, 69, of Millington, died Friday, February 29, 2008 at Regional Hospital of Jackson in Jackson, TN. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and a life-long communicant of the Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Stewart Glenn Scott, Sr.; two daughters, Katherine Scott James and husband, Mart of Dyersburg, TN and Stephanie Scott Smith and husband, Michael of Maple Grove, MN; and a son, Stewart Glenn Scott, Jr. and wife, Debra of Houston, TX. She also leaves a brother, William G. Dwyer of Memphis; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Emmett and Maxine Anderson Dwyer, and a brother, Bob Dwyer. Services will be held at High Point Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 4. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be made to the charity of the giver's choice.
