Rites For Gunshot Victim To Be Today

Services for Mrs. Ramona Ruth Wilson of 4421 Powell, Apt. 1, will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Memphis Funeral Home with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. She was 27. Mrs. Wilson was found dead in the bedroom of her home at about 8:20 a.m. yesterday. Police said she died from a "self-inflicted gunshot wound" in her chest. Asst. Police Chief Henry Lux said a note signed by Mrs. Wilson was found near the body. He quoted members of the family as saying she had been despondent because of personal problems. Mrs. Wilson was an employee of the Kellogg Company. She leaves her father, Jack E. Wilson of 4378 Ferndale; her mother, Mrs. Ruth Howard of Germantown, and two half-brothers, Robert Howard and Mike Howard, both of the Germantown address.
